to Saima S for buying me a ☕️ last week.
Saima has just signed up for the newsletter but loves the concept and wants to help keep this newsletter going.
If you would like to support this newsletter as well, you can do it now.
Since freelancers do not have the same needs and are at different career levels, we have a mixed bag of opportunities here.
(There is a fellowship with a $90k stipend in the Resources section so make sure you check the newsletter all the way through)

Before we head to the last few sections of the newsletter, a note on how I plan to run this newsletter.
Most newsletters usually hide opportunities behind a paywall, which can really hurt freelancers when the chips are down. Paying $5 or $8 a month, just to get a glimpse of an opportunity does not seem fair.
So, I want to run The Science Freelancer on a “Pass-it-On“ model, where freelancers who are doing well chip in.
The newsletter’s first-ever supporter had this to say.
What a fantastic resource Ameya has created for our community. Every time I see it in my inbox I'm eager to see what new opportunities he has curated for us science writers. I'm happy to offer a bit of support to keep this going!
I tracked my time to create this edition of the newsletter, which was a little over four hours. If you think that’s worth something, consider buying me a coffee or even two!

Finally! A portfolio that's auto-updating and backs up your work.
If you're a writer, journalist or content marketer, you are familiar with these struggles:
Spending hours updating your portfolio page to keep it fresh.
Losing your work samples due to site shutdowns.
The good news? Authory has you covered!
It automatically pulls in your content and creates a stunning portfolio that updates itself every time you publish.
Plus, it backs up all your work, so you never have to worry about losing anything.
Ready to impress potential clients and employers?
