  • Applications are now open for the University of Washington’s Sea Grant Fellowships for graduate students. Deadline: 14 March. Stipend: $3,400 for fellowship spanning two academic quarters between April -September

  • Investigative Reporters & Editors (IRE) has two $10,000 grants for investigative stories about public health/ issues affecting people with disability. Projects can be in print, online, TV, Radio or film

  • Applications for the Annual Science Immersion Workshop for Journalists at the University of Rhode Island are now open. This year’s edition will be held in June and is titled: Seeding Change: How our food systems adapt to climate change 

  • Applications for Allbritton Journalism Institute’s two-year reporting fellowship are now open. (No visa sponsorship) [Annual stipend: $60k]

  • Applications for the Tarbell Fellowship,  a one-year program for early-career journalists covering AI are now open (Stipend: $50k)
