Before we head to the last few sections of the newsletter, a note on how I plan to run this newsletter.
Most newsletters usually hide opportunities behind a paywall, which can really hurt freelancers when the chips are down. Paying $5 or $8 a month, just to get a glimpse of an opportunity does not seem fair.
So, I want to run The Science Freelancer on a “Pass-it-On“ model, where freelancers who are doing well chip in.
The newsletter’s first-ever supporter had this to say.
What a fantastic resource Ameya has created for our community. Every time I see it in my inbox I'm eager to see what new opportunities he has curated for us science writers. I'm happy to offer a bit of support to keep this going!
I tracked my time to create an edition of the newsletter, which was a little over four hours. If you think that’s worth something, consider buying me a coffee!
